I’ve never left a game before the final whistle. It’s just not right. Win draw or lose you’ve got to show your appreciation or even disdain to the players. It’s what being a supporter is all about.
On the very few occasions that I have, it’s usually been because I had to be somewhere else at a certain time and couldn’t afford to get stuck in the traffic leaving or as happened once where I’d hit a deer on the way to the game, it damaged the radiator and I’d called the breakdown recovery, assuming they’d be at least a couple of hours but they arrived part way through the second half!
two great home wins against Sun'land - the second includes Rosie at right back, a centre back who can head the ball and ****ermole playing Rosieball
I would leave early if I was 10x6 for an evening kick-off game - I'd warn my mate that I'd be bang on the hour, I'd leave at 17 minutes past 9, jog through the park, down Selby Street and over the bridge to where I parked - then I'd drive at licence losing speed all the way to the steelworks!
No more hate than for any other team, and for a team you barely know exist its you on our board. I never visit your board because other than a couple of times a year you mean * all
What is it with 2 club cities always having an obnoxious club? Maybe both Bristol clubs are the exception.
Done it once, Blunts at home last season. Weren't many trains back with it being a Sunday and decided I'd rather get the earlier quieter one than the one an hour later with them twats on board
Quite like visiting Sunderland, home fans appear realistic and friendly to me. But come 3pm tomorrow, you are here for a spanking!
Never ever understand speccies leaving the game early. Its not like they'd leave the cinema with ten minutes to go (unless the film is crap, of course) or the theatre. Bloke who I sat next to for five seasons, in the East Stand, would always leave ten minutes before the end to quote.. 'beat the traffic' . Even at the end of the Cardiff epic...Odd ps....On today...1-1 or a 2-2
Remember when city played Wigan in 3rd round of the cup I met up with an old school pal, hadn’t seen him for years anyway was shocked when he not only said he doesn’t go to the pub before kick off but we arrived at the stadium 40 minutes before kickoff, it was a freezing day in January with snow on the ground. Then to put icing on the cake 10 minutes before the end he’s says cmon we’re leaving to beat the traffic. Barmby scored twice in last 10 minutes we missed both goals.
