The next contestant is Turkish midfielder Sahin. Sahin tells the echo he failed because Rodgers played him out of position. "But I have left Brendan Rodgers thanks be to God". An interesting statement compared to Lucas who earlier said he had to adjust his position to fit in with physicality of the PL. So what's your take? Rodgers a big meanie who played him out of position- or Sahin too delicate to flower around a more physical league? Personally, I think he just turned out to be the wrong fit for a place in the team. He could work in England... just wasn't what we needed at the time and appears that he was unable or unwilling to adjust.
More like he really didn't want to come in the first place and was trying to work (orin his case not work) his ticket to get out.
Just a bad attitude towards the greater good of a team. Sorry, bud, more important things than you wanting to play 20yards further back than you're told to.
As far as i am concerned BR played him out of position because he wasnt good enough in his preferrrd position Why else was Allen played there when BR wanted him to play further forward?
The difference is Lucas was moved to a position he was more suited to playing. Sahin was moved into a position where he wasn't suited at all to.
FFS He's supposed to be an internationally rated professional!! He did nothing whilst here to suggest that he was anywhere near as good as either Lucas or Gerrard in the DM position!
He didn't perform for whatever reason. Maybe he wasn't played in the correct position. We're better off with Courtinho.
I never agree with loaning players. When they leave it leaves the club back at square one, plus I question their commitment to the cause.
