I fear a drubbing!!

Lambert is a sham of a manager.

He can't coach accurate passing or patterns of play that end up with shots on goal. He won't pair Sears with another striker up front. He can't see that Nsiala costs us points almost every time he plays. He plays Judge out wide.

I find myself disagreeing with pretty much everything Lambert does to be honest and I just want a new manager.

You have made everything about following Ipswich into a depressing experience.

Our once renowned pitch looks like a training field for tractor drivers to learn on. The stadium is falling apart and you continually choose managers who make the most baffling decisions. Our squad has had the best players sold for peanuts and replaced with cheaper options and we are unrecognizable from the club you bought all those years ago. You are a complete failure and unfit to own a football club.

Please just sell up and **** off and take Lambert with you

 

Same as usual bloody useless, did we actually have a worthwhile goal attempt ? We can't score so any time we go behind whatever the circumstances we are almost certain to lose, we are not up against class players, this is the 3rd division, but still we can't seriously threaten the opposition goal even at home, Evans has destroyed this Club little by little over the years for Gods sake man just go.

So I've just been thinking this lads.

If Evans hadn't come in and 'saved us' (and he has done anything but in truth) and Ipswich had ceased to exist after administration and we started a new club from fresh all those years ago then we would probably be playing at the same level we are now but without a useless **** for an owner!

 

Evans thought he just had to throw money at the club for a couple of seasons and we would get promoted. Had we brought Mick to the club at that stage, I have no doubts that with money, he would have got us up. However, we got stuck with Keane. After that, ME decided he just didn’t care any more and has let the club just drift by - although we did get the turnstiles painted. Just heard post match interview, PL with his usual brand of bs, at least Chambers came out and gave an honest assessment - not good enough. Where do we go from here? Don’t think he’ll be sacked (hope I’m wrong) at the end of the season, we have to get the higher wage earners off the books to free up room in the salary cap but at the same time, we need a new manager to shape the new squad

 

It’s all just so tediously predictable.

Lost against a half decent team - check
Baffling selection choices - check
Barely a shot on target - check
No plan - check
No real patterns of play - check

We can all add several further things to that list. The players are underperforming and the owner has overseen a decade and a more of decline - but this manager is out of his depth and clearly doesn’t give a monkeys. Get somebody else in! Oh wait, our clueless owner saddled us with a five year contract on this muppet.

I didn’t watch the match today, just picking up on things I have read and the reliable, insightful observations on here. Honestly, whoever does watch this tripe week in, week out (and I watch us most times) deserves a medal. We’re so awful. We’re not going up this season. We won’t beat Sunderland mid-week.

A complacent, weak-willed squad led by an incompetent, clueless manager who is petty and overly sensitive. And this is all enabled by a fraudster owner who, after more than ten years in this industry, does still not understand how to lead by example or build a winning team. Why do we bother when they clearly don’t?

 

Because we hope to outlast them mate
