Thers's another conundrum. Splash the cash and wonder if you have friends because you've bought them with money. Say you will splash the cash to friends and wonder if you have friends just bought with imaginary money. Don't worry though mate, you're always good to me already.
When the lottery first started me and my mates all agreed that after a few months maybe a year you would have a complete new set of friends even if that wasn’t your intention. Then I thought I wouldn’t want these scrounging bastards for mates anyway
I've often wondered this, and thought that I knew what I would do.... Goes without saying, but I would see that the kids (32, 29 and 21 year olds) were set for life, along with my two brothers and their families. (This is the part I would still do) Now for the bits that I thought I would do... A decent sized single storey house in the country, with a big enough lawn that I would need a ride-on lawn mower, and some pasture/grazing land. A full sized snooker table in a room where I didn't need a little cue when the white ball was on a cushion. An annex to use as a music room with a big drum kit, guitars and a Marshall stack. Some farm animals...couple of cows, pigs, chickens, a few sheep maybe. Buy them as young uns, and let them just live happily, not for eating. Now? Forget all the above... I would try any means possible to get the Mrs some new kidneys. Without her, all the above would mean absolutely nothing. And this is a new one....I would speak to @Gordon Armstrong to see what was needed to set up and fund his two ideas in the o.p....I think it would be a brilliant thing to be involved in. Thats it. X3 hospital visits this week with the Mrs....maybe I need to buy a euro millions ticket.
Hear hear ! Absolutely. Always have so much admiration for people , especially children , who suffer with various conditions and still smile with determination.
