I haven't liked Poland since 1973 and the night of 'The Clown'

Good half by Wales. Ben unlucky to not put them ahead right at the end - just offside.
Johnson has been the standout player for them - and if he had someone better than Williams to support him down the left then Wales would be well ahead.

3 goals made by England, sadly 2 of them were for Belgium

Mainoo has looked brilliant and Bowen very bright. Progressive for Southgate

Wait, did Belgium play Trossard for 64 minutes?

Arteta surely on the phone to Ursula van de Leyden about this flagrant human rights violation

Wales have moved Johnson across to the RW this half and he's almost anonymous.... Poland now looking much more likely to nick it.

FFS... Page is an idiot. Just subbed Johnson! <doh> Best player by a mile in the first half. Changes his position which screws up the impetus and he replaces him!

Verts marshalled a very good defence.

But Maddison makes a goal for Bellingham

One of the best Southgate games I have seen

England have 5m right-backs. Why play Konsa there and pick Dunk at centre-half?
There are no doubts that Rice and Bellingham will start in competitive games.
No need to play them for 90 minutes in friendlies.

They'd have a point on this one, to be fair.
Rice playing every minute of both friendlies is unnecessary and unhelpful for England.
If he misses out for the filth on Sunday, then they're right to be pissed.

Then again, he had a week off compared to most of the other players in the squad, but for some reason that doesn't count...
