So for those keeping score, Gorbachev and Stalin's respective countries will be in the Euros, but Putin's won't
Oh great, Poland's neanderthal fans are going to the Euros The Euros which take place in Germany What could possibly go wrong...?
I've never rated him. As you say, 'flakey' and flatters to deceive. A few on here rate him I know, but pretty sure that if he didn't have United on his CV he would never have risen above a low to mid-Championship level career.
Both rubbish, good comparison though as they’re both similar in ability Werner has 12 PL goals & James has 10 PL goals
It seems the overall game was meh, but Maddison saved England with one of his typical needle-threading assists.
What a waste of time these friendlies have been for England. An under strength team have had weaknesses exposed, especially defensively. Key players unavailable, endless substitutions and team selections which will bear no resemblance to the starting XI for first competitive game in June. These players don’t need extra games in their legs as most will have played a full season of 50+ games by the start of the season. The net result is probably that confidence has been dented a little by the results, the highlighting of defensive frailties and the reminder that the players aside from Kane, Bellingham, Saka, Foden and Rice (perhaps) are bang average. So was it worth it?
Liechtenstein scored one of the fastest goals in the history of international football last night Well, when I say "scored"...
Forgot to mention: Lucas Bergvall was subbed off after an hour against North Macedonia U21s after being on the receiving end of this https://www.tiktok.com/@sportbladet/video/7350681982965271840
Sunil Chhetri has announced his decision to retire from international football after his next game. India face Kuwait in a World Cup qualifier on June 6th. He's currently on 94 goals from 150 games for them, which is a very impressive record.
Glad to see some new faces in the England squad - especially the Palace lads, who will bring some energy and dynamism, which most of those left out wouldn’t have done.
Passing up Adam Wharton in January is already looking like an error, as he's in the provisional squad
