    N22hoop, what do I have against Enfield?

    This dates back to the 60&#8217;s when Enfield were loathed by nearly all non league clubs in the south. Followers of Wimbledon, Barnet & Hendon detested them far more than me. Their arrogance was only surpassed by THAT club just off of the M40 in South Bucks. They really are the Devil incarnate!

    In the early 90&#8217;s there was a bitter rivalry between Enfield & Chesham but that improved the relationship between the supporters. It is certainly a shame that Southbury Road closed. A good ground that was always worth a visit, especially if you had won!

    I moved to Ipswich from Chesham in 1974 so I wouldn&#8217;t know the make up of the present day population. I mainly follow CHESH on the net these days, but who ever forgets their first love?
