Sean. But it makes no odds. They have all been Bruced. What’s the injury prognosis? Hope he’s not to bad. He’s not clart like some and he gives his all so Hayden for me is one of the only ones that gets slack in all this mess.
I read that Hayden wasn't even playing DM recently, is that true?! We were playing a "diamond" and this lad was on the left - I'm still shaking my head.. Anyway, what chance his injury finally leads to a 4-2-3-1 formation that would suit the players? One of the Longstaff's alongside Willock, left to right of ASM, Almiron, Murphy, with Wilson up top.
But every game he plays he goes down in history(ionic) as the main reason for the clubs death. Quite a title!
So.. to recap..... Hayden is out and will miss our last 9 games. I presume it rules him out of the 3 remaining sessions?
Saw this and thought, things just get better and better. Hayden may lack quality on the ball, and in an ideal world he wouldn't be in my midfield at all. But the one thing he does do is scrap and fight for the club. He might lack for quality, but he never lacks for effort. To be left knowing Shelvey is gonna be a mainstay, we are down. You'd be better off playing the two Longstaffs as much as they've regressed. They'll try and they'll probably be our centre midfield in the championship anyway. I'm finding Hendrick more and more pointless.
Hayden will be a miss. The two Longstaffs have as much pace as a tortoise between them, apologies to tortoises everywhere for the comparison. As an experienced PL player, Hendrick is just a big let down.
Don't need both of them, Willock has the pace. I'd put him alongside one of them, behind ASM/Almiron/Murphy, behind Wilson. It picks itself. Shame Bruce won't.
