Was'nt it Donald who said you would be that far in the lead in the league you could concentrate on the cups

We had 2 games in hand over you and on the same points, not our fault you can't achieve more PPG than little ol' Wycombe. <whistle> <doh> <laugh>

Did Sunderland reach top of the table at any time in the season? I think it has taken Sunderland 2 extra games to amass the same number of points as Wycombe. We shouldn't even be having this conversation because Sunderland should be on 100 points by the end of the season. 4 points per game from the remaining 8 should just about do it

A lot of Sunderland supporters have taken it on the chin and accepted they only have themselves to blame for underperforming. And with their current set up that could continue. Somehow they need to get themselves sorted and get out of League 1. I suspect, as is normally the case with underperforming, it is the owner. You need a good owner and a manager who has a good relationship with the owner and who can motivate his team as a whole. Otherwise they will never achieve the heights they should be capable of

Will Darius Charles be able to play3 games in quick succession? With McCarthy having gone back we might be short at the back.

Ah Grimmer, he was out for a while wasn’t he. I assume Fred will be fit as well.

Ignore Monty987, most of his fellow fans on the Sunderland site call him an idiot (or worse) <laugh>
