This season Dieng was never number 3.. He was desperate to leave...but suddenly he signed a new contract. Then he went into the team after Lumley had a couple of off games. It is obvious he was promised a chance, which to his credit he took.
He’s married to a former Miss Zambia according to Wiki. Some people just don’t get the life they deserve.
Happy New Year all but this thread is confusing So it’s either Give away BOS Sell Dieng and loan out Kelly Sell Dieng and loan out Lumley Sell Dieng and loan out Lumley and get a creative midfielder Get another Spurs mate turd for a manager Or get a manager convicted twice on charges of violence Get a forward charged with rape Keep playing Kane as wing back Sign Aguero if he proves he can still score goals Have I missed anything? I'd rather have John Terry as player manager He ticks nearly all the above boxes Let me know when it's over please
Ched Evans - sent down for rape with one other. However on appeal, evans girlfriend helped paint a picture that the drunk girl assaulted was a willing participant (from what I can remember reading at the time). Adam Johnson - sent down for grooming a 15 year old girl Barton had a fight with another manager Think avoid at all costs for all three.
Ellers, I know you have me on ignore but I couldnt agree more! Polar opposites in politics but not on football
If I were a premier league manager then Diengs performances this season would have definitely caught my eye.
On the Barton story ... apparently Clint Hill has also left Fleetwood. Defensive coach until the end of the season anyone?
Absolutely snap him up. Pay his wages from a reduction in Warburton's and Eustace's salary. They have clearly failed in the defensive department.
Les doesnt seem to be able to teach our strikers much, though I realise it's not his main job, but why should Clint Hill be able to teach our Defenders any more?
I wouldn't imagine Les spends much time, if any, on the training ground. Bringing in Clint, or anyone else whose speciality is defending, to spend time with our back line has got to be better than what we've not got right now. Clints' affinity with the club could galvanize some of these players, especially the younger ones, in the same way that Rangel was doing last season.
I had a quick glance and Fleetwood’s defensive record is quite good. No idea how good a coach he is but it would be a great character to have in the dressing room when we lack anyone like that in the actual team.
Are you sure he's a great character? He's very cosy with Barton, and there have been some stories about him too, kicking balls hard into some young sub in the warm up for one. He was a good player, maybe he'll make a good coach.
