Anyone saying no to alli is crazy. If we have even the slightest chance of a deal we should get him in. Unreal player. Versatile. Loves to press. His attitude can’t be that bad. Poch loved him. I don’t know what’s happened to him at Spurs, but mourihno & Spurs have ruined many players careers. I doubt he would consider coming here but if there’s even a tiny chance it would be a huge coup.
Didn't his downturn coincide with him being attacked in his own home. Young lad. Would surely have been affected badly by that. I do agree he shows attitude on occasions. That's why, in my mind, he may well benefit from Ralph's management.
Love the fact Man United are trying to extort Newcastle. They want a 12mill bonus fee if Lingard helps Newcastle avoid relegation. That would take his loan costs for half a season to 16.5 mill.
Just speaking to a few Tottenham friends (yes, I know...) they all think that Dele would absolutely thrive still in the right system.
Probably been covered on here already… but amongst (allegedly) bidding for Broja and (allegedly) wanting Ali on loan…. I’d like to see us take a punt on someone like the Carvahlo lad at Fulham…. We’ve speculated long term a fair bit recently and although there are a few clubs after him, I’d like to think our development of young players stock is back towards where it used to be… even if it was a buy and loan straight back so they weren’t losing a player at an important time…
Although if your Carvahlo, enjoying your football at Fulham, you might decide to stick around on the assumption you will be playing in the Prem next year anyway.....
Everyone knows Newcastle have a ton of cash so it puts them in a bad negotiation position because everyone wants a slice of it.
That maybe the case, but they have a coach who probably isn't known through out the football world, and a team that is in serious danger of being relegated!
you might be right but Ralph seems demanding and Delle seems like he does what he feels like, gut feeling is it won’t be a good match but I am only guessing.
I feel like premier League teams will not want to deal with Newcastle this season as they know that next season if they stay up, they will potentially be challenging nearer the top. Trippier came from abroad, and they triggered Wood's release clause. But Man Utd are rightly making it tricky to get Lingard, this is nothing like a normal transfer to a team near the bottom who regardless of if they stay up or not, is going to be no bother to you next season. Man Utd are not what they used to be and allowing Newcastle to get one of your players is possibly going to bite you in the ass next season when they will be a direct rival. Time is ticking and it's gonna be hilarious watching them try to throw money around!
Of course he would. He just needs his confidence back. He was probably the best English player for a brief moment. Anyone that gets him would be incredibly lucky. The Lingard one is really baffling to me. I can’t believe he hasn’t forced his way out sooner. What a totally wasted career. He was great for WHU last season and should have gone back there… clearly happy to collect money and sit on the bench. Pathetic Bruno guimaeres to Newcastle if they pull it off is an incredible signing. He should be going to United or Arsenal etc.
