    haha.
    yeah despite the exaggerated costs
a private jet pisses all over a chauffeur driven roller.

lad who told me the stats said when he went solo business wise he bought a top of the range brand new range rover to create a good first impression. the first client he met told him to meet down a track in the middle of the countryside. perfect for showing off his new car he thought. the client turned up in a helicopter...,

I’ve had the exact same thing happen to me a few times!!! I know 2 people with helicopters, 1 with a jet - The costs associated with owning anything flying are just horrific. ££££££££

It's Brentford and they don't pay high wages. I'm sure whatever they'd give him we could comfortably match.

Can't see Acun selling this window, certainly not good for PR with the fans.

And when he does go, it'll be to an established PL side. Reminds me of when Bowen could've gone to Cardiff

I don't think KLP is anywhere near the level Bowen was when we sold him , I guess you mean we won't be
selling him in the near future then ?

No thanks. I’m very happy with my yacht, the costs with that are bad enough without adding another toy!!

My plan for retirement is a small yacht/motorsailer. Costs don't seem too crazy if you DIY a lot.

I’m thinking of buying one, looked at the pilot’s license, there are two types you can get, one with less training hours but I’m going for the 25 hour one I think, it allows you to fly longer…

All depends where you moor it, York marina £10 a night (if small enough)

In Europe the popular marinas are significantly more expensive. Happy to drop you a DM with costs breakdown. It costs me over a 6 figure sum every year & mine isn’t a “big” yacht

Cheers. Would certainly be food for thought.

I'd ideally be letting the house and fooking off in it for a couple of years and trying to avoid full time marina charges.

He's not ready and Brentford know that too. But they also know when he is ready they've not got a chance of signing him so they're going early

Do you mean living on it at sea? If so, you might want to reconsider, it’s ****ing awful even on the flat Mediterranean - you will get thrown around in a small boat. Boats are for travelling in, you need to be in a port to sleep.
The good thing about the med is everything is within a days sailing to get there. I’m based in Mallorca which is dead centre

Summers aren’t much better, it’s the swell that’s the issue. You would need to plan to anchor up in a harbour / marina every night. Your boat would get smashed to bits very quickly

Was thinking estuaries etc. You can pick up bouys much cheaper than on a berthing. Obvs will depend where I am in what weather and how fit I still am in 20 years time.

I'm sure we wouldn't. He'd be on £20-25k per week at Brentford.

Doubt he'll go this window though. Hopefully keep him for another year and a half and he plays so well we sell him for stupid money.
