We’re just gonna have to wait and see. The squad has improved massively over the past 12-18 months but we’ve lost no ‘key’ players, yet.

I hope we do find the patience as the model makes good sense.

The difficulty is part of the double-edged sword of how passionate the fans are, I reckon. We take to players massively when they do well.

Agree. We were a big club, could be so again but at the moment we are mid-table second tier. It’s all part of the rebuilding process for the better players to leave. At least we are moving in the right direction which means it will happen less as we progress. Either that or we are going to have some absolutely cracking players passing through!

If Stewart were to go, which id hate him to but being realistic, I’d love us to put a bid in for Coventrys Swedish striker.

Maybe he wants to get the **** out of Coventry.

Gyokeres? Best striker in the championship for me. He will join a PL side for £10M+ imo

I’m 100% confident that if we let him go it will be reasoned and considered rather than anything to do with going “ooooo money”

Can't see us letting him go to a championship club. If that's all that's interested he hasn't reached the highest profit margin he could make us yet!

If all that looks interested is championship clubs then we extend for a year and see if he get on other clubs shopping lists by the summer! Obviously if we can't get him tickets stay for a bit longer term!

Not bothered where he goes as long as the deal is right.

If Everton offer £7m and Swansea offer £12m I’d much rather sell him to the championship club in that instance.

Not gonna get butt hurt over championship clubs spending money

Would be an awful, needless signing.

Certainly not needed whilst Pritchard and Embleton are here…

I might be a broken record but if we sign Dack I’m confident it’s for the right reasons

I back Stuart Harvey. So any decisions he and Speakman make that I don’t agree with, I’m not going to get too worked up about.

gone are the days where we have to worry about the competence of people making these decisions. We won’t always agree but I feel we can always be confident the intent is right

Dack is a very good player highly though by Blackburn fans and a stalwart in TM's teams (when fit).
However had a couple of bad ligament injuries and hasn't played much lately
Big question mark for me whether he is as good as he was
Need to trust our recruitment. A fit Dack could be another master stroke like Pritchard.

That's the thing - as long as we remain on an upward trajectory through clever recruitment it doesn't really matter who we sell. However, there's always going to be players you love to watch and even better if you feel they have a real bond with the club so a bit hard when those players leave.

this. As per my previous post I don’t necessarily agree with it, but he’s another one like Pritchard, like Evans, that injuries have written off. Both have been stalwarts for us.

He’d fit into our team as a Pritchard replacement as I get the impression the regime see Embleton deeper with our abundance of centre mids

    Read these
I suppose I’ll have to trust our recruitment team
    And I will

It might seem like blind faith as well and of course a lot of it is faith rather than science. But it’s not blind faith any more. There’s evidence now that this recruitment team have a plan and know what they’re doing

Our recruitment has been an absolute revelation lately. Considering the dross we have signed and money we have wasted over the last few years.
They will get a few wrong. But the change in such a short time is remarkable

That doesn't fit the model at all though so it won't happen. He's being touted at £15m to Burnley and Premier League clubs. If we get £8-10m for Stewart, we're more likely to spend around £6m, but on 2 strikers.

Yeah of course. Just my wishful thinking. I could see us signing someone we’ve never heard of again to be honest.
