It certainly wouldn't be a solution long term we deffo need a new RB. Plus Hume is growing into the role at LB and isn't experienced enough to play him out of position, he couldn't have hit that cross for O'Nien first time from the right.

Maybe something to look at if say De Bock and Gooch and Watmore are looking undroppable.

Two new full backs are a priority, the midfield 4 from Dobson, Power, Hume, Robson, Embleton Watmore, Gooch , O'9, Mumba and Leadbitter , should be enough, and the front two from McNulty, Maguire, McGeady and whoever we cant exchange or loan might see us through. See if we can trade Conner, McGeouch, Wyke and Grigg.

Sadly not, had a set back a week or so ago, and will be out longer than first thought.

De Bock LB, Hume left wing. Cover, pace & skill.

It's something that at least needs trying, I think defenders would hate having Hume running at them all game without him having to get back and give them a break. Even on one of his bad days where nothing comes off he'd still be a pain in the arse and tire out and stretch the defence.

    1) A direct and pacey wide player to add a bit more creativity.

    2) A new right back, preferably with the ability to get forward.

    3) Another striking option on loan.

    4) Potentially another midfield option if we can offload McGeogh.

Not sure I'd want us to do anything more than that.

Peterborough have Toney and Eisa who have 20 goals between them so won't be short up front, so Maddison could come here, it might mean Flanagan etc will be moved on. Will Grigg finally start putting himself about and score goals though. I would stick with Kimp and start him and Grigg on Saturday, and lay the law down on them to put a performance in.

Might be worth putting in a bid for Eisa, one of the best forwards in the league.

According to rumour PP went through the dressing room like a dose of salts after the Leicester game and it appears one or two won't get to pull the shirt on again. If so, it seems he's forming a view on who is "in" and who is "out". Anyone confirm?

Weren't we interested in Eisa before Bristol City signed him? Peterborough paid a million quid less for both Toney and Eisa than we paid for Grigg (potentially £2m)

Rings a vague bell. Crucial they get the right forward in whoever it is.

Will Will ever put himself about, he has had a lot of opportunities thats all I can say and has'nt yet shown much interest. Kimpy should not be considered as any more than a 30 minute gamble if the options are down to zero, he needs to grow up a bit, either loan him out or ship him out asp. <ok>

The advantage to this is that if de Bock is doing a Connor we can drop Hume back and bring on a fresh wide midfield player and keep the pressure on. It is as you say an option worth trying, and at no risk to our shape, which should be 4/4/2 or 4/41/1 which is basically the same formation with one in the hole, and I am not sure who that would be, if McGeady could play their he would be a sensation imo. but I also like O/9 in that role due to his pace and enthusiasm. But even with the squad we have there are options for variation that are all attack minded. We have a squad now that will get us into the playoffs imo, but with a tweak or two, and a change of luck on the injury front, we could still make an automatic spot. There is still a long way to go this season, and I expect the situation is not in any way lost, its all to play for . OaU.
