Good player exactly the type of player we need just think there are more than a few better options out there. Played well for Swansea and Ipswich at Championship level but not as well for Wigan in the PL.

Not what we need. Good player, but not any better than the likes of Simpson really. Whenever I've seen him play recently, he hasn't impressed. Billy Sharp or DJ Campbell are much, much better. If Scotland gets released by Ipswich, then you know not to take him on.

We can do better than Jason Scotland. I find it strange that some fans are saying Scotland would be a good signing but DJ Campbell wouldn't!
No idea why we're releasing him. One of our most consistent performers and goalscorers when he's actually played. Took a pay cut in the summer when he already had a contract so that's been thrown back in his face. He deserves a good club whether that's in the Champ or League One, he should be playing regularly and he'll get goals.
