Brazil commented when asked if Jock Stein knew of Torbett’s sick activities…’No chance, Big Jock wouldn’t stand for any nonsense would he?’

Same response rocket?

If you were actually concerned about a cover up...then it be more the kellys who should be in the dock as they knew according to Brazil...

To give a view on it...like it matters

Did Stein know what had happened....Yes, several have said so
Did he react like an older generation man would have in the 70s...Yes
Is that right...not by today's standards but this is a different era
Did the Kelly's know...looks like it, yes.
Did they cover it up...apparently.

Obviously Alan hasn't read Lou Macari's book or seen the statement from John McCluskey.

It's very difficult for some people, especially those with Celtic at heart, to say anything against Jock Stein.

But there is absolutely no doubt whatsoever that he knew what Torbett was up to.

Similarly, Tommy Burns could see no wrong in Frank Cairney.

The Bunnet soon put him right on that particular score.

But don't kid me on that any campaign to strip titles from Celtic I'd based on a moral stand point...as that's bullshit.

It's odious point scoring rivalry...

I want EVERYONE involved in the cover-up to be brough before the courts.

Celtic continued to do business with the Trophy Centre even after Torbett was imprisoned.

Kelly was a Director of the Trophy Centre along with Torbett.

What a slap in the face to the victims.

I genuinely want the titles stripped. Why shouldn't they be ?

You only have to look at Penn State and see how they were dealt with.

Why shouldn't Celtic be treated in the same way ?

If you say that's your stand point then so be it...

I'm sure having Celtic lose 9inarow and ec wouldn't come into it...

It's quite simple.

If a cover up is suspected then there should be an investigation and possibly charges brought.

Disny matter if it's a fibta team, a company, a church, a family, ...any ****in thing for that matter.. A cover up of illegal acts is an illegal act.

If there is the necessary evidence to be tested up in a court that abuse was deliberately " covered up " ( by the childrens parents as well I presume ? ) then of course charges should be laid ... I wonder why that hasnt happened yet ?

The idea of stripping Celtic of titles at the time of these alleged incidents has as much merit as stripping titles from rangers while they opperated their sectarian/ apartheid policy of not employing catholics

Far less in fact.

Every rangers fan "knew", every rangers player "knew" and every rangers manager and director "knew" and colluded in a century of vile bigotry.

Fortunately that old club is now dead.

The SFA "knew" and did nothing, as did the press and media, they "knew" and turned a Nelson eye.

Hmm . Ah bit , no bit , ah bit yoos canny talk aboot us because yoos didne employ kaflicks <laugh>

What a load of tedious bull**** this thread is . It's like weans arguing in the schoolyard .

Aye Celtic are a horrible club for covering up the sex abuse and yer right Rangers fc , in the past had a truly embarrassing sectarian policy . Celtic also freely supported Republican terror groups by letting fundraising happen within their stadium and Rangers did the same with the loyalists .

Fact is if it wasn't for bigotry the old firm wouldn't be the massive clubs they are today . Even todaythere is little more than lip service paid to the eradication of the scumbag element with in their support . They both bend over backwards to keep the ****s coming through the doors .

Money talks people and in Old firm lala land it often has an irish accent and preaches nowt but hatred .

So sling as much ****e as yees want to at each other . Nae ****s gonne notice as these two are built on it .
