I have to say, as a neutral, I was very disappointed with Jose's tactics ... never thought I'd see a day when United would be 'playing not to lose' ... at least not domestically ... We have been pants away from home this season tbf .. but our games have been largely entertaining because we have gone out to try and win from the outset ... perhaps that is because we carry the Champions mantel and feel it is encumbent upon us to try and win .. unfortunately our squad is not at that level (yet) and we should perhaps be going out with the first ambition being not to lose ... but for a team that has spent north of £150 million on transfers over the summer and also got Ibra on a free to add to an already strong squad, to start parking the bus away from home in the EPL is pretty woeful ...
Correct. You are being very fair. True, but the problem you have, Bambi, is that English teams have now worked out your chip-and-rush tactics, and given that Ranieri has no Plan B, you're spiralling back down to where you belong. Your tactics are working fine in Europe, because they haven't worked out how to counter your one-trick-pony tactics, but that will come, no doubt with extremely humiliating effects. Hm. I'm not sure about that, Bambi. I think it's down more to your being a one-trick-pony side, mate. To be fair. Anyway, I'm glad that I've managed to clear that one up for you. If you have any further queries about football and how it's played, let me know and I'll be only too glad to give you some pointers. Thanks.
... I tried reading it but all that really resonated was "desperation" ... but nevertheless, better a one trick pony with a trick that fooled the world than forever a shadow puppet in a world without light ...
Not a chance, You lot were crap on monday, let's be honest here, it wasn't an entertaining game but Like I've said already, I enjoyed the first half. it was a Mourinho Masterclass in terms of how to keep you lot out, the press and media had you lot as favourites for the game but we got a point out of it, which i'd of took before the game.
