Coventry, Bristol Rovers,Gillingham,Scunthorpe £20 win Yankee = £220 I've tried sensible selections (no pun intended) so now it's time to be silly.
Really difficult ones this week... £50 Posh DRAW £50 Gills win (not confident but hopefully SL has given them a rocket up the backside) £50 Scunthorpe I just don't know beyond that
Still too early in the season mate, generally i've found when I've done stats in the past that Christmas is the first big indicator on how the league is going to unfold. You general get a few exceptions pass that but not many. I still remember when we (Gills) were looking certs for autos/play-offs a few seasons back in L1 (memory is going to be precise) we completely bombed out, what we actually did in regards to a poor run of results, in relation to our league position, was the worst ever aside from Tranmere Rovers. Still as always the first stat in this League that every club should be aiming for and something i do clearly remember is 51 points. It is that total (51/53) that you require to fight off relegation. So in Gillingham terms and Wycombe terms, currently we are both in the poo poo as on current form we'd be lucky to scrape 46 points! But as they say, a long way to go and a lot can happen and change and i aint forgotten when you lot sent us down, against all probabilities statiscally Interesting to see Steve Evans is living up to form, so it leads to a trivia question, has he ever not got a club promoted? We can exclude Mansfield because he left and they were in a very strong position when he left. I mean what he did at Crawley and Rotherham was amazing, although sadly his brush with the authorities is a slight blot on his record, well a bit more than a blot but if i were to call him a crook, i'd get sued
Capital letters eh. Sounds like a confident bet. You'll be pleased to know saffy that I haven't bogged down your team with my money this week. What's left of it
We won 4 out of our first 5 games. Drew the last 2 but one of them was with 10 men for 70mins. We'll start clicking again today
I know. I'm sure they will be up there before long. The first draw was away to Luton who are extremely difficult to beat on their home ground. I actually won money on that draw. You drew against Oxford with 10 men; we will probably struggle with 11 today
Oxford looked good, tbf. However, I've got you down as a win today. You seem able to grind out results.
I said it was going to be a difficult week and the results proved me right. Thankfully for my bets Scunthorpe saved my day
Considering you was down to your last 275, that was a brave call on that one Ron, especially for a crap return
