I'm still a little way off yet before I make my predictions for next season. However, I would be interested to know if you have any pre-season thoughts yet, to where you think we will finish in League One next season and who will be promoted/relegated: 1. Predicted Gills finishing league position? 2. Expected number of Gills finishing league points? 3. Predicted two auto favourites? 4. Predicted play off winner? 5. Bottom four?
1) Gillingham to finish 10th 2) 55 3) Brentford and Preston 4) MK Dons 5) Port Vale Stevenage Bradford and Oldham
1. 14 2. 50 3. Sheffield United & Oldham 4. Peterbough 5. Leyton Orient, Walsall, Port Vale and.......... WOLVES (after another 4 managers have come and gone)
1. Gills to finish 14th 2. 58 Points 3. Wolves and Sheffield United 4. Preston 5. Colchester, Stevenage, Port Vale and Tranmere Rovers I don't think it will be a good season for Swindon either.
1. 8th 2. 66 points 3. Bristol City and Sheffield United 4. Peterborough 5. Coventry City Oldham Port Vale Bradford City
1. 5th (Lose playoff semi) 2. 69 3. Bentford, MK Dons 4. Orient 5. Port Vale, Crawley, Swindon and Colchester
I intend to but I've not worked on it yet. Really difficult. If it was not for MA, I would say we will consolidate our position maybe in the lower half of the table. However, after last season I need to find a balance of measure. Promoted teams appear to have a custom of coming back down but the consistency shown that led to us winning the league title is a very strong formula to see you moving forward and edging the playoffs. There is an obvious pattern forming in the predictions cast so far, so I will take all the fixtures and bear those thoughts above in mind. I think something that might be in our favour is a lot of the attractive fixtures are in August/September when teams can still be unbalanced. I may favour us in this situation, otherwise MA has got a tough task ahead. I need to look at some history, no matter the current form, history always tends to be a good indicator of your minimum performance. The maximum potential is down to MadDog. I'll try and get mine done hopefully soon. If MA leaves during the course of the season, no reason to suggest he should, then it will be a complete collapse and us fighting for survival. Lenny will enjoy that latter statement - lol
Or you could just go with your gut feeling for now....... Or have a few Ales and then go with your gut feeling. Lol
lol - gut feeling eh, that's the problem I don't really have one. Difficult. I'm looking at 60 points gut feeling but i need to run that through some permutations. So where ever 60 points stand us. But not my final answer. I'm surprised people are thinking Swindon will be relegated. Although I do expect about two of the four promoted teams from L2 to go back down. Top teams where do we start, Sheff Utd, Wolves, Brentford, I think Peterborough will be up there. Need to think.
Why are so many people tipping Sheffield United to do well ? They had a far smaller budget in 12/13 than they did in 11/12 and they are going to have a much smaller budget in 13/14 with an unproven manager. Honestly, i wouldnt be surprised to see them in the bottom half of the table or worse perhaps.
To me it seems queer how we are not allowed to discriminate on grounds of sexual orientation - but can literally crucify somebody for wearing a tiny 'cross' badge at their place of work Or in Morrisons case - to order a member of staff to go home for daring to wear a poppy badge in aid of 'Help for Heroes' http://www.telegraph.co.uk/foodandd...ded-for-wearing-Help-For-Heroes-bracelet.html you see - it's not just Tesco who I love to hate.
tbh I had not even noticed throwoff's and your own typo's. I just copied and pasted the stuff. I noted some typo's for Peterborough and corrected them, just overlooked that.
