the list of managers that came immediately after Bruce is very impressive most of which had success elsewhere.
So do I. I'm sure he'll come back to Hull to do his 'shopping', and we've got a handful of players I wouldn't be too sad to see the back of.
I like Wilks and would like to see him develop as a player under Shota but I wouldn’t be surprised if we accepted a bid from Sunderland in the summer if McCann gets the job. Likewise, I think he’ll want Elder and Smallwood if we don’t extend their contracts.
Lots of ifs and buts, however those are the kind of players dependent on who we look to bring in are the players likely imho who would be allowed to go. I suspect Honeyman and Doc will get tied to extended contracts in the none to distant future.
Smallwood will definitely go there if given the chance, as like Magennis, he’ll want the security of a long term contract. Elder possibly, it depends on what division they’re in.
They're all ****ing themselves silly over the possibility of Roy Keane over on their bonkers forum. If they want a dour irishman they'd be better off with one that's got a team up from league 1 before
Sky reporting Keane not for Sunderland and a whisper for Terry- Black Cats fans understandably over the moon at the prospect? Personally think Terry would do a job for Sunderland but it will be hard to keep them happy.Their fans stuck in a mindset 20 years ago when they were a force in football.
One post from their board. Calling us a rank average side and they've been down there how long? It would be with a heavy heart I would go far McCann now....He's got a rank average side out of this league before, but he has a hell of job to win over our fans
I never thought their fans were as entitled as Newcastle but they are, hope they stay below us for another decade.
If McCann is the new manager, I’m sure every commentator will be talking about his end with us, “2 wins against 2nd & 3rd, & then they sack him.” Typical media headlines with no details!
