Agree. Forshaw and Kilch have their own problems at DM but at least they can cover the ground to make up for their mistakes (or at least give it a go). Struijk biggest limitation is that he is incredibly slow, especially over 5-10 yards so he can't make up any lost ground. Phillips is incredibly difficult to replace. I thought we looked better when Struijk went back with Cooper and Klich sat in with Roberts and Pablo probing in front. Looked a more balanced set up. I'm up for giving Llorente the job but to be honest I know very little about him or his style. The ****er hasn't played any minutes as yet. Looked a very clever player marking Ronaldo for Spain last year when I watched him though.
Was looking back earlier and we've lost 5 where we've been favs Home- Leicester, Wolves, Brighton and West Ham Away- Palace
We were bad and I’m not sure how you could up vote any of the players I’ve mentioned having a bad game. Think they’re fair scores for the game today as we were poor. My expectations are creating chances, having some hunger and desire. All I want us to do is stay up and Brighton is the sort of game we should be winning. It just worries me after last week, I thought we would see a reaction but we didn’t. If we play like that every week we’ll go down. I think we’ll be fine because we’ve shown enough all season and been very good in most games, it just seems strange as we haven’t created a lot in the last two games but keep conceded. It’s okay to concede chances when we’re creating but we haven’t looked like scoring in the last two games even if we carried on playing. Apart from the cups and probably West Ham today is the worst I’ve seen us play all season. I’m not going to downgrade a player due to not liking him. Kiko wasn’t the worst out there yesterday.
It's Leeds...they don't like us never have some of this praise we have been getting is through gritted teeth probably...fix bayonets
We really need to win the games with clubs in a relegation dog fight. I was upset at Palace because we were way better than them to start with and had that Bamford goal not been disallowed different result. We also dipped out against Wolves at the death after bossing that one and yesterday against BHA we could have probably sealed their fate and at the same time moved 12 points away from them and put distance between us and Palace/Wolves. Accepting defeat from top 6 clubs is fine but losing to the clubs below is almost criminal in this league. We beatEverton who are toying in the top 6 and took a point off City who may win the league. Come on Marcelo sort this out now
First time I saw both of these I thought they were pens, the Rodrigo one more so. Thought it was bizarre that the commentators didn’t mention it and even more bizarre that VAR didn’t even review either. What’s even the point in VAR? Isn’t it there to see what the ref misses like the contact on Rodrigo?
Pens have always gone the wrong way for us. Does anyone member 2 or 3 years ago that the opposition were awarded a penalty when a Leeds player tripped the opposition in the box although the ball was 30 or 40 yards away
Any one else wondering how there were only 3 minutes of added time ? 6 separate substitutions took place in the 2nd half (30 sec per sub is the agreed time to add) and yet the ref blew his whistle bang on the 93rd minute. It's a minor point but it just shows how sometimes certain things never seem to be in our favour.
Agree but to be honest, we could have had another 30 minutes of injury time, I just didn’t feel like we were going to score
