Having won six games on the trot, creating an eight point gap between second and third in the process; Bielsa's men will be brimming with confidence, but Hull be certainly be no pushover. The Tigers, albeit in 12th place, are only three points away from the play off's and with Jarrod Bowen scoring his 14th and 15th goal of the season, dispatching Stoke at the weekend Leeds will have to be on top form if they are to extend their winning run to seven games. We all know that Bielsa does not like changing a winning team, but certainly has the tools at his disposal should he wish to. Influential midfielder Kelvin Phillips will return to the starting line up following his one match ban for racking up 5 yellow cards. Ben White will switch back to central defensive duties alongside Berardi. It is not expected that Cooper will return from his calf strain he picked up in training last week What changes would you make to the starting XI?
The obvious change(well to 99.99% of the fan base) will to put Phillips back in and put White back into defence, then the conundrum starts, he prefers Berardi there, which means moving Ayling back to RB but Dallas did nothing wrong there you could move him back to LB but Alioski had a great game scoring a wonderful goal. I think he may "rest" Dallas
Bielsa wasn't happy with our defending on Saturday so he'll definitely bring back Phillips to give us some composure between the edge of our box & the halfway line. We'll need KP to keep tabs on Jarrod Bowen too! Hopefully Cooper is fit too, unsure of the severity of Coops current injury :duno:
I think you maybe right Ges Difficult to omit Alioski with his energy, enthusiasm & our most likely defender to score a goal. The return of just Phillips for Dallas would mean only one change in our set-up
Berardi will play cb if cooper is out. He’s found a place for Dallas every game I recall. Logically if he wants an attacking line up he makes a choice between Dallas and Ali at left back. If he goes more conservative he drops Pablo or costa and plays Dallas. Or he plays 3 at the back... white ayling berardi. whichever the ‘droppables’ are Alioski costa Pablo based on recent history... but all have done well so logically it’s Dallas as the other alternative. some of the others appear ‘undroppable’
What changes I’d make and what will happen are entirely different. You know Bielsa will play Ayling at RB and Dallas will move central midfield alongside Klich. Personally I’d have two from three starting and one on the bench Alioski, Ayling, Dallas. If Cooper isn’t ready Berardi will keep his place alongside White. I think this could be our hardest test of the season, a local derby against a fairly free scoring Hull team.

I wouldn't want to compete with DMD's information about Leeds just to point out that Amy Johnson was from Hull (Kingston Upon Hull) and interestingly was the first Woman to fly solo to Australia, which is about as far away from Hull as she could get
Potentially tricky 1 tonight. They’re a bit Jekyll and Hyde but If there’s a side in this division set to cause us problems it’s probably them... Grosicki and Bowen (he looks far too good for this league) hitting us on the counter. Should keep us on our toes. So hopefully we’ll be 4 up at half time to ease those nerves
I was hoping Kalvin Phillips would return rather than trying out an unknown like his cousin Kelvin. Hull in reasonable form at moment, if not at our level, so I’m going for a narrow win 2-1. We’ll stuff ‘em.
