Lets hope Grayson has the balls to start with Grella up front, could be the forward we need at the moment!
Well Gradel and Snodgrass are both out, read somewhere that Mendez is wanted by the club but complications mean an immediate signing not likely and if we do get him he will go out on loan to learn the English game *sigh*... So McCormack on the left or Nunez/Sam and who for the right...
Apparently he was piss poor against Farsley (despite scoring) and showed his bad attitude, I would rather give McCormack or Paynter another run out to build confidence, or a youngster. Not really surprising, it's the same as what happened with Nunez and Somma and they both seemed to benefit greatly.
But we shouldn't then turn down the opportunity to sign a player who could come good. If an opportunity comes along for the future we should still take it.
I wouldn't be surprised to see paynter start, not saying I would personally start him (and I don't want to eat my words) but I can't see Leeds losing this one no matter what team we put out. If we do this forum will erupt I might have to even stay away lol
Hopefully. If I were Larry I'd have half a mind to play the same team and say "Get out there and play for your ****ing places".
I was just thinking that we should be thankful for small mercies. After all, Bradford were in the premiership around the same time as us and look how they have fallen right through the trap door. Don't get me wrong, we are Leeds but there is no guarantee saying any club is safe from meltdown. It may really bite some big clubs if this financial crisis continues or get worse. I hate that old penny pinching bar steward as much as anyone but let's give 'em a bit of time to sort out what appears to be a mess we have got ourselves into. (I must be feeling good today, it is my first optimistic post on here, lol)
however leeds utd at the moment are a club making profit, one of the few clubs in the top two tiers, we would be less likely because of how well the club is being run at the moment Now we wait for the reaction of Leeds-18
Where's all the profit going then? I presume it's being spent on securing the club's future which of course is done most directly through the acquisition of quality playing staff? And is it being raised in a commendable way, or is our business model reliant on rip-off ticket prices, short-sighted thinking with regard to supporters, irresponsible transfer policies and of course on the sales of players to keep the club in the black? Riddle me that.
