I would rather our run end to a team like Leicester who should go up this season, instead of losing to a team that are favourites to go down. Well done Leicester, but it sounded like it could've been a draw. And as i said....just wait until the 'Seagulls' get back from their average win against Posh.
Cracking game. I was bricking it at the end. NOTE TO SVEN: Stop switching to 4-3-3. However, a win's a win.
2 quality sides in a quality game , hope we both go up . Leeds getting beat as well - thanks for your keeper , he was the difference today
"bit patronising, we bossed you." Don't believe everything you hear on local radio - they're intrinsically biased! The referee played a big part - if he'd reffed the game properly you'd have ended up with 9 men and only one goal, and we'd have only ended up with 2. All in all it was an even game though - we dominated the first half and fully warranted our two goal lead at half-time, you bossed the second and really Lallana really should've drawn you level. No-one could've justifiably complained about a point. The positive of the 3 points is, however, totally overshadowed by Sven. What the hell is the man doing? For the second game in a row he's sent us out 4-4-2, we've played well, scored goals and gone in for half-time happy, comfortable and 2 goals to the good. Then, for the second time, he's sent us back out in an ultra-defensive formation to try and hang on to that lead for 45 minutes, and quelle surprise we very almost blew it, as we did last week. We cannot and will not get away with doing that and I hope the win hasn't papered over the cracks. Play like we did first half and we'll be charging down on promotion in no time. Play like we did in the second and relegation is a realistic prospect. It was Jekyll and Hyde and Sven has a lot to think about.
Sure is - that's why we stand 2nd in the league with 4 wins from 5. Happy with that. Playoffs for us I feel, which I'd be chuffffeeeddd with. COYS let's beat Swindon. I'll be there cheering on the boys!
Completely missed that match peeps. I see we lost 3-2, but did we fight and give a good account of ourselves..?
Another game in which we should have strolled on to a heavy victory but negative tactics nearly cost us three points! Déjà vu of last week. Credit to Southampton - quality team and fans - they took the opportunity (probably should have grabbed a draw) but we should have put this game beyond them just after halftime. Come on Sven - be brave and stick with 4-4-2! We weren't afraid to win big last season! I don't think my nerves can stand this all season long! Now we all eagerly the injury news on Nugent...and Maynard. I've heard whispers he may have pulled a hamstring!
Jen, give it a rest luv. We won, you lost, I was being fair. Said you played well, not patronising at all. See you at SMS, I'll be the one in the Leicester shirt, come and say hello. Oh, and thanks for the three points.
Seaborne sounded like he had a shocker, had 2 yellows yet stayed on :S Also, did Richardson go off injured or tactical? And how bad was Dan Hardings injury?
