Confident for this one. Leicester struggle to score against us, and the last time the two teams met, Saints won 2-1 at the King Power with only ten men, thanks to yet another Shane Long screamer.

That was way back in January of last year. Seems weird that we haven't played each other since then, to be honest. But hey-ho!

Excellent. Let us hope the lads in the Northam learn the words and sing it on match days (just the chorus would be enough we don't want to set them too hard a challenge).

It might stop them singing that really **** chant "if you love the Saints stand up". I don't ****ing need to stand up to prove anything. I am in the stadium in the first place because I love the Saints.

Happy ****ing new year although it may not be too happy as WW3 looks as if it is about to start.

It won't be as bad as last time we played them, but we will still lose.

Leicester are a good side and I will reluctantly* agree they are better than us, but so are Arsenal, Chelsea, Spurs and United on most days and we will be up for this as we have a point to prove. The match at SMS was an aberration...so I can see any result.

*reluctantly because as a Saints fan I do not live in the real world.

 

We won’t lose 9-0. That’s the only prediction I’m willing to make.

We will need to drop a bit deeper as our CBs will have no chance of catching Vardy running in behind them so two banks of four battling space between 40m to edge of box and break quick

 

It will be interesting to see if we try to press them in their own half, because Leicester are arguably the most dangerous team to do that to.

 

I think this might be one of those games where we let them have the ball and press them from the half way line, to minimise space for them to break into.

This is a great opportunity to continue our good form and right a few wrongs from that dreich* evening way back in October. Leicester have made a big mistake coming to our patch and playing football.



Fair play to any Saints fan going to Leicester and the inevitable ridicule they are going to face.
