Pre match banter thread Both teams will want to return to winning ways. Leicester will feel aggrieved they didn't get at least 4 points against Brighton and Middlesborough thanks to some poor refereeing while Cardiff will want put the pressure back on Southampton and West Ham after losing to Blackpool
if you offered me a draw i'd probably take it as its away from home and it keeps the remarkable record we've got of only losing 6 matches in all competitions this season. however if you look at leicester, despite all the investment they're only 13th and have won 2 in 10, whilst we've lost only 2 in 10 so, considering we've beaten both teams that occupy the automatic promotion spots i think we should be going for the win, we've got good memories of leicester in recent months and years and i believe we can continue that. blackpool last week was a poor result, which will mean that MM will be looking for a reaction, i think the players will be fired up for this one
We havent won at home now in quite a long time. Now we have some wingers in we should be alot better going forward at home. Its going to be a tough game and i think we will win about 2-1
I'm a bit disapointed with Leicester so far this season, I had them in my top 6. lost 10 matches so far with 10 wins. Good luck will the rest of the season (after Saturday) you can still get into the top 6.
Apart from the cheating you did in the play off game you havent won in Leicester for a long time. Last season Andy King scored 2 for us in Paulo Sousa's only league win as manager and the year before the league match Martyn Waghorn scored the winner for us And in the play offs you got away with 2 clear handballs which should of been penos to us and you moved you free kick forward. Had Kasper been in goals he would of saved it. Weale was miles too slow off the mark
LOL gabor gyepes went down in folklore for that tackle, timed to perfection but somehow the ref gave him a red, as for the whitts free kick, i agree it was an outstanding free kick that only a player of his quality could pull off, he's probably the best technically gifted player in the league and could easily make the step up to the PL. we've had our fair share of GK blunders too, witness the heaton calamity in the first leg of the semi final, the final being live on sky sports 1 i think it will be a great match, appararently one team has overachieved one has underachieved but thats management for you, i predicted a high scoring draw
I havent seen much of Cardiff but when we went there in the league they was poor that day. We should of won the match pretty comfortably but we couldnt take our chances. I remember last kick of the game Darius Vassell hit the bar and Andy King put on over in stoppage time Obviously they dont play that bad everyweek but i dont think Cardiff hold the same threat now that they have over the years going forward. One player i always rated for them was Chris Burke. Danger man for them now is still Peter Whittingham but there isnt anyone else i would be too worried about about for that little dwarf who always scores against us
Oh yeah that tackle, i didnt see anything wrong with it myself please log in to view this image And i also remember that game Martyn Waghorn scored a corner only for the useless lino to say it didnt cross the line when it clearly did
agreed, poor decision by the ref, you cant blame him though maybe his view of the incident was obscured, i dont agree with blaming the referee though, if you watched the semi final (the final is on the 26th february) then you would have seen we got a legitimate goal chalked off, just get on with the game?
Well this will be the first home game that i will have to miss,so were bound to win just to piss me off even more
Its the first home game my son will have missed I keep telling him its a sure fire win for us? You see?
Lets not bring up the play-offs. Neither of us got promoted so it's history. Regarding the match on Sat, I think if we don't start winning our home games, we can forget about the play-offs. I'd normally be happy with a draw, but I feel it's a must-win.
We are consistent! Never win two League games back to back .If we win Saturday and lose to Cov that's still one point better than drawing both
Prefer we lose this one and then beat Cov if I had to pick on game to lose - send those buggers down!
