If that had been protesters against illegal immigration there would have been tanks and water cannon used to move the protesters along ...quietly
We the taxpayer are now paying the french to stop the illegal migrants leaving France , you really couldn't make this up.
This country has lost its marbles.....we follow the yanks with using paper bags instead of plastic years later....we love the Australian way of life and yet we could so easily follow them in the way they stop illegal immigrants by turning them around or put them on an island away from their country....human rights....bollox....what about our homeless and vets in desperate need of help...sod the illegals..go back to save your families and countries.
Apparently, Mail Online is reporting that the former soldier behind the Extinction Rebellion Cenotaph protest is a drug dealer .....
The police should have intervened sooner, and stopped all that bloody nonsense ..... this was about people who had lost thei lives defending the country, the 100th anniversary , and to have these people hi-jacking this special day was shameful . Did themselves more harm than good, they don't seem to have much common sense. .......... I dare not say what I would have liked to do to them.
I think they'll go after him now because of comments he made stating the "little ritual" which he believes is Remembrance Sunday . he's welcome to his opinion but imo the timing and comments he made hasn't helped his "cause" Ironic that his name sake Donald Bell was awarded the VC for this action "The opening day of the Battle of the Somme saw the 9th Green Howards placed in reserve near the town of Albert, however, they were soon thrown into the maelstrom when they attacked a portion of German trench called Horseshoe Trench on 5 July. It was during this action that Donald Bell was recommended for the Victoria Cross. As Bell and his men made their way towards their objective, they immediately came under heavy German machine gun fire. With his men caught in the open, Bell traversed down a communication trench with a junior NCO and a private and destroyed the post with small arms fire and mills bombs" he didn't survive the war dying a few days later .
Saw that on tv this morning, and Ben Shepard pointed out that there had not been a single call in from the public to support him. ..... what got me, was that the sod dressed up in an Army uniform. Everybody disagreed with what they did.
He just as well have dressed up in bin liners, any honourable link to the forces was lost when he was convicted of drug dealing That was just a cheap prop to promote himself imo
