    are we Champions already?

Joking aside what would it mean for us and the rest of the league.

    Rooney Ronaldo RvP

Imagine those 3 running towards you. Even if we take Rooney out and juggle it about a little to put Hernandez in there many PL defenders shorts are going to turn brown.

I think he meant Man Ut's rivals, not Liverpool's.

Is there any chance of us signing both Ronaldo and Fabregas?

Dont think so but ronaldo and Thaigo is a possibility.

Cesc would cost around £40million, Thaigo £15million. With Ronaldo expected to cost £65million I dont see us splashing £100million on just 2 players.

    Ronaldo
    Thiago
    fellaini
    Maybe Baines.

Thats £100million depending on whether or not baines is signed.

What a summer that would be.

    Ronaldo<laugh>

    Aint gonna happen,

    Edit

Not a slate on United though

Just thought I'd clarify that, but someone like him has gotta prefer living in Monaco with that live style instead of Manchester! He has made plenty of noise about staying at madrid who will offer him much better wages than United IF united were to come up with a ridiculous offer for him which they wont.

    8th August 2013 <ok>

How much do you think his transfer fee would be?

    £65million.

Now before you ask why has it gone down when hes more productive.....

Hes 28 and a different kind of player in many ways. We sold a player who could dance rings around others and then score. He tends to score more often now but less of the pure talent.

Messi would be an awful buy <okj>

I think considering our transfer policy since 2003 we are allowed the odd splurge. Plus getting Ronaldo for £65million would be great as we sold him for £80million.

Plus our own earnings easily cover this.

Well there are some flies in your Ronaldo ointment.

Moyes, I think if he comes back to the Prem he may go to Chelsea and play for Jose
    Wages, You won't match madrids
A few other teams that can offer things united cant, like Monaco and their tax free status and again plently more wages
Madrid have to be willing to sell him which is doubtful
he is a much better player than they bought. 65m is optomistic even given his age

If the united team he was part of were around and Fergie was still managing the team I could see the optimism but that is not the case. He would look at your current team and think, Top European side capable of winning the CL, not likely

All speculation of course but I would assume he is the sort of lad who wants to play with the best in the world, and those players are not playing for United, you dont even have one player who could even try claim to be the best in the world in their positions.

Madrid were never going to make more than they paid for him once they paid £80million imo.

I doubt he would play for Mourinho. The relationship between them wasnt all that strong and both have said things about each other in the past that are not favourable. I dont think its as easy as Real wanting to sell. Hes got 2 years left and if he rejects their contract offer he is free to go. The time remaining on his contract is also why he would be £65million. Next season he could be worth just £30/40million and the season after he can go for free.

You all seem to forget how he left, he felt too big for United and wanted to move up a level, this is certainly true, and United were regulars in the CL final then, now not so.

I just dont see where the optimism is coming from, dont blame you wishing he'd come back but it is not likely imo

If Madrid said they were selling, even with your revenue increases you would still be outmuscled financially

Robin van Persie has to be considered one of the best strikers in the world right now. This will ruffle a few feathers with you also but Rafael should be considered one of the best right backs about now imo.

You also forget hes already played and won the European cup with several of the players at the club. So whether you consider them the best or not doesnt matter. Ronaldo knows they are capable of being the best and that when he played alongside them he was the best player in the world.

RvP has been brilliant in the PL and meh at international, the same reasoning you used to diminish Messi<whistle>

he is a good player, not by a fair stretch best in the world I'm afraid, and Rafael, best in the world in that position, not on your life mate. No one at your club can claim to be the best this or that in the world by a stretch at present.

Anyways, has Ronaldo not said very recently he will renew his contract with Madrid.

    Who could though?

    PSG, Monaco <laugh>

Not Barcelona.... Chelsea? Well..... I suppose its possibly but I'll win the lottery twice before that happens. City you say? Not even a sniff. Bayern Munich are probably one of the more likely shouts.

So if he decides to leave Madrid, where could he be going?
