in no particular order, Swindon because there Swindon.,newport.. lived and worked there for eighteen months and only now beginning to recover from the experience, and of course millwall.. because everyone hates millwall - for a reason,
Did I miss something, I didn’t realise Newport were in the Championship. There’s me thinking they just missed out on the dubious pleasure of playing the Sags twice next season
Know what you mean about Newport fella - used to be known as ASBO City across here. Mind youI hadn't noticed they were in the Championship this coming season - nor Swindon for that matter. That leaves Nillwall. Used to be like World War 3 when we went up to the Den and those sort of memories tend to stick.
I think that honour was actually Cardiff’s m8, wouldn’t drive through Ely with the windows open or doors unlocked personally.
If we’re including teams from the lower leagues then surely the Gas should feature in here somewhere too?
Let's stick to this season in the Championship guys, otherwise if you go historically with teams like the Gas, we'd be including Merthyr......
Ok just to make you happy, the first game I will look for when the fixtures come out will be Swansea at home.
With both teams selling players. But who will get the best replacements (if any)? And one needs a manager to start with.
I quite like him actually - but I totally get why many people don’t. I’d genuinely love to meet him and have a good old chat with him about football.
I never take the piss out of Warnock, I did years ago, I thought he was a pillock, then a few years back I found out his wife had breast cancer, a severe case, when I learned how he cared for his wife and chiidren, kept working with her encouragement, I was full of sympathy and understanding for the guy,he went through a couple of bad years but kept going, never a word to the public and just kept going. just to mention, my wife and I shared the same hell from that disease hence my comparison, my wife is as bright as a button now and please forgive my mentioning our scenario but I understand the strength of that guy during his testing times. I still think foolball wise he is a pillock but my god I don't know how he kept going, I quietly admire him and his wifes strength and keep my mouth shut.
Sorry to hear about your trials and tribulations wizered and glad to hear your wife has come out the other side. With regard Colin, he might be a pillock, but he's our pillock. I must admit, quite liked him before he joined us, but get why people don't. Definitely a marmite character. We need more like him in the game though, a real footballing character. Hollowhead was another. He says it as it is. The nearest in the big league are Klopp and Pochettino. Colins football is a bit one dimensional, but no questioning his results.
