I have it on good authority that Jake Livermore has just bought himself a house in the Willerby area. He's been staying in the Hallmark Hotel in Ferriby since the start of his loan deal (this part I know first-hand). As he's a footballer, I'm sure he could quite easily buy and sell property as he pleases, but if he's stayed in a hotel until Christmas, why bother buying a place now? It's hardly transfer complete but I think it's a pretty strong indicator that we'll be seeing a permanent deal for him next month. Look at me, gone from these boards for the majority of 18 months, now all journalisty.. how I've grown..
I bet it's a stonker of a pad. No doubt I'll be invited over for a moving in party at some point. It's just the way it's done. Can't wait.
I hope we do sign him permanently. I was pleased when he scored against Liverpool, feels like it's been coming. There's been the odd game where he's looked most like scoring out of anyone. I think he'll bag a few more, as well as doing some of the more industrious stuff rather well too.
Just hope its true. Jake has been immense...hard working, durable, and a goal threat (hit the right hand post three times already). His best years are ahead of him. Would be another brilliant Bruce signing.
Don't we have a permanent clause in there somewhere? £3.5m I think? It shouldn't take much agreeing if that's the case.
If there's a deal to be agreed then it really is a no brainer. Young, English, good...as an investment alone it makes sense.
Bit of an unusual one if you're right. Surely they'd still accept the clause - only the player would care what division we're in.
You pay a huge premium for English players, the supply of them isn't as great as demand so the price will increase over time.
