    Liverpool v Everton

    FA Cup 3rd Round

    19:55 Friday 5th January

    Tele – BBC1

    Officials –Still don’t care

Just to get you in the mood here are some clips for you – mind you never understood the fuss about the disallowed goal in the first 77 game clearly handball or offside or something :bandit:

    1977 semi

    1977 replay

    1986 Final

    1991 Replay

Since we will have 9 days off after it would expect to see a full strength team apart from injuries I.e. Clyne Hendo Moreno Salah & possibly Coutinho <whistle>

    Prediction

Another attritional game as Everton park the bus & try to hit on the break & if that don’t work then fall over.

    The ref

    FA Cup
    Referee: Madley, Robert
    Assistant Referee: Perry, Marc
    Assistant Referee: Holmes, Adrian
    Fourth Official: Moss, Jonathan

Bobby madley in a Merseyside derby? He's the guy klopp accused of not protecting coutjnho in this summer's preseason cup with Leicester.

He's a Huddersfield fan though.... he might just give us a hand cos of wagner

I expect rotation but i also.expect us to go for this so hppefully not a ridiculous number of changes. We rested players today, dont play city until 9 days after and realistically its our only chance of silverware this season

I just cannot see Big Sam walking to the gallows. The only way they can get something is to defend in depth and wait for an opportunity with set pieces.

    agreed.

If it were any other team he would play kids.

Imo if they win through he will dump the comp in 4th round anyway

    travesty of a draw.

Don't think so but yes you're right this needs to happen. 1 game is enough.

Better than nothing I guess. Also need to get back to playing the semis at a neutral non Wembley ground.

Deffo, Wembley is the aim you don't want to go there before that. The Millenium would be good.

    old trafford.

IMO theres plenty of grounds now that could be used for this "neutral venue" ****e.

    The everton bowl :bandit:
    Spurs
    Arsenal
    Old toilet
The pit as tobes likes to call it.. or castle greyskull etc etc.
the cheslea ****e hole with terrible traffic

I don't see the point of using wembley bar to line the pockets of the fa for the concessions etc.

IMO the millenium stadium is a fine place to go as well but a wee bit out of the way for some.

Yep. He'll want to win it because it is a derby. But realistically the Cup would be a distraction for him. He may feel he'll have a chance to win it once past us but he'll want to concentrate on the league and get a good position.

Klopp should play a strong team. Winning is a habit and playing kids will give a boost to the blue noses and getting dumped out of yet another cup will be bad for morale. I hope that his giing the go ahead for Salah and Mane to fly out is not an indication of him resting his best players.

imo he knows he won't go past 5th round so allardyce will be dumping this one if he gets past us.

I agree if klopp picks ****e i will be very upset.

front line of mane, coutinho firmino if fit please.

Cms, could be anyone they are all up and down.

    CBS: vvd and matip

    Full backs. robertson and gomez.

    Keeper. prob be karius tbh....

TBH I'd have no issue with half the side he will pick its the front 3 that matters

    gk: Karius
RB: tta or gomez who cares which. Gomez prob better option
LB: robertons was rested so must start
CBS; who cares. klavan, lovren, matip vvd. anyone can play cos everton will be defending
CM: Can, wijnaldum, milner? pick two
    ACM: oxo, lallana?
LF: coutinho if fit, if not mane
    CF: must be firmino
    RF:??? mane? oxo?

The issue here really is we know salah is out. but mane has to start as does firmino

I would hate to see solanke again tbh.
