Troy and Dane's progress has definitely stalled. I'd say it's pretty unlikely either of them will make it at PL level but there is still a chance. Next season will be definite for them both. Loan moves must be chosen very, very carefully.
Scarlett may actually be better off staying with the squad, depending on how we finish. Our ability to pick out decent loans seems utterly non-existent, anyway.
Scarlett is on his first loan so shouldn't be written off just yet, especially as his minutes were mainly affected by Portsmouth changing managers for somebody who decided he isn't a CF - although he didn't help matters by giving the impression he was waiting to return from his loan for the last few games Parrott, weirdly, has some silent positives: Preston were ****e going forward all season yet he didn't get dropped, and he got back into the team after a lengthy injury layoff and stayed there - both of which suggest he has the workrate and commitment to not let his head drop, even though he didn't produce the goals or assists like he did at MK Dons last season
