Today's topic is Sunday lunch /dinner. I can't stand it myself, big effort and lots off mess to clear up. I'd rather do a casserole or a chilli and spend the afternoon chilling than go through all that effort. Everyone loves a poll. So there is one.
Don't even enjoy it No one needs that much food on a sunday lunch, my family turned it into curry night
a few of the sites grumpiest ****s so far have backed you mate, positive vibe folk like Gessa will soon be storming in with their opinions no doubt in favour of the most overrated meal in existence here in Norway they have Tacos on sunday, tacos ffs, horrid.
Love a good roast and that feeling of being stuffed. Not sure it would have the same appeal if I had one weekly. Bit like the good English breakfast, to be savoured 3 or 4 times a year.
Sunday roasts are overrated English traditionalist plates of misery. Never been into em, although I've eaten loads of them in my time I can't think of anything more unexciting to eat tbh. Sweats white people chicken is close
I count my calorie intake, so it's just too much of a faf on, but if I was not living on my own I'd like to have dinner with the family. It can get quite lonely on your own, so if you can id say do it.
Just had one, beef. Agree it shouldn't be nailed on every Sunday, every other week is ample. Am very definitely stuffed and there's ordinarily too much spud. We're down the in laws and for some reason they do a big pan of boiled potatoes on the side. Which no one touches.
Probably the largest meal I consume, when we do have a roast, but I’m always hungry a couple of hours after and always have a craving for cheese on toast!!
I don't care what anyone says about you fella you're a sound lad. I'll be a kip by then and bad things happen if I'm fed after midnight
