Although "not discussed", does that mean it's just paper speculation after a sound bite from an interview at sometime recently. I'd be one for having him as part of the set up. A top pro, albeit viewed as having limited capabilities, he's been a servant to the club, and would be great to have around the youth set up. He's done better than more talented players imho. http://www.westlondonsport.com/qpr/mackie-wants-new-deal-see-career-qpr
Let him go He,s history Even though I admit he single handedly turned this season round (I honestly mean all of that)
In the short term, over the years, in the heat of the moment, I've bagged Mackie for his apparent lack of skill at times. However, I must give credit where credit is due and the simple fact of the matter is that Mackie, with all his good and bad points, is of great benefit to the club as a whole. What he may lack in talent at times, he more that makes up with genuine desire for our club. He always puts in those extra yards, whether they are needed or not. Well done James Mackie ............... you've kicked many a goal for our club, not all of them in the back of the net.
Definitely give him another year He's not a guaranteed starter by any stretch, but he's important for the dressing room
