I thought the referee had a decent enough game.
There were a lot of “coming togethers” that he just ignored, instead of following the usual trend of giving a free kick to whoever shouted the loudest.

Pep and my Citeh mate disagree. Easy win but they were cheated out of a penalty. That’s not what league expect from their officials.

Of course we would’ve lost. City do that to lots of teams, go ahead and coast. If they end up conceding and letting the other team have a sniff they just up it for 5 minutes or so until they score again, then go back to coast mode.

We weren’t terrible last night, but we are what we are, which is not on the same level as City

 

Been musing a bit and our performance last night was like a microcosm of the season - silky and sexy in parts, fumbling and unsure of itself in others. C'est la vie.

Say what you like about being a Saint, but it's never boring (discounting the Puel years of course)

 

I'd happily settle for a boring Wembley cup final this season.
