We hold the record of winning the league 50 years before we were formed! And winning a major European Trophy 34 years before we were formed. Bet none of you can beat that
For what it's worth - and by all means take it with a pinch of salt because all of us Spurs lads do - a Spurs 'ITK' mentioned about two weeks back that Lukaku to Chelsea was done for £72m. This was stemming from a post of our supposed interest in Barkley (who he claimed wanted out of Everton and that we were currently the only club to have expressed an interested). The guy posting claims he spoke to an Everton youth team coach.
Did he really want to leave chelsea?.Did JM force him out?.He's got a point to prove back at the bridge and he's young enough to do it.
I don't think he's been tapped up mate, there's nowt there to suggest Everton haven't given him permission to talk. My guess is that there's still details to iron out and perhaps an exchange going the other way, maybe Batshuayi or Rooney, depending on who's done the deal. I'd suspect it's Chelsea if we're formally bidding for Morata.
Have Everton confirmed they have not given him permission to speak to other clubs? Surely with Chelsea and United sniffing around, and him saying a deal has been made.....if Everton had denied permission for other clubs to speak to him, they would be going nuts right now and reporting Lukaku and the "other club" to the Premier League officials.
He didn't name the club though, his agent and him have been pimping for a year so it's hardly a shock, and the club know he wants away, so we'll just sit tight and wait until someone pays the asking price.....
Real Madrid forward Alvaro Morata is pushing for a move to Chelsea after confirming he won’t join AC Milan in the incoming transfer market window. It is understood Antonio Conte made the Spaniard a main target on his summer wishlist and Morata himself reportedly asked Real Madrid president Florentino Perez to leave the club in order to join the Blues.
This quote by 100 years isn't looking great at the moment either: I mean he is right, in that the sale of those players funded Costa and Fab, but seeing as De Bruyne was sold 12 months later for 6 times what we got, and we bought Luiz back to the club, and are probably about to pay Everton twice what we got from them for Lukaku.......maybe not so good after all in the long term
