United at home to Aston Villa. Looks like Varane is back. So is Dalot after his suspension but I'd still start Wan Bissaka. Mainoo should start but he may be benched which would be a shame. Bruno will once again do fck all. Other than that I really can't predict the midfield. Lets go with... ------------------------Onana AWB------------Varane------Evans-----Shaw ------------Amrabat-------Eriksen---------- Antony----------------Bruno-------------Garnacho ------------------------Hojlund Villa are playing well and will have no fear. But seeing as Sheff Utd and Bournemouth have managed a draw against them, and Forest have beaten them, then we should at least be aiming higher than our recent performances. A goal or three wouldn't be bad either ffs.
Team to start.... Shaw is out, our best player in the previous game ------------------------Onana AWB------------Varane------Evans-----Dalot ------------Mainoo-------Eriksen---------- Rashford---------------Bruno-------------Garnacho -----------------------Hojlund Rashford on the right. I really hope he's been managed back into the side with the right attitude.
I would rather see Garnacho on the right (he's two footed) and Antony given a chance on the left. Rashford will sulk all game and that midfield frightens the **** out of me, hold on to your underpants
Just read Ten Hags interview and he said Rashford on the left Garnacho on the right so that's a bit better.
There really is no point in playing all these attacking players, and pushing Varane and Dalot into midfield, if ALL you do is get the ball and pass it around in your own half
All we're doing is saying to Villa go ahead play in our half. In the first 15 minutes they had 14 touches in our box to 1 from us in theirs. Sorry but this is ALL on Ten Hag.
Our gk who was supposedly known for his distribution has played 10 yard passes to the cb's and fb's all game.
It has always been on him. The system is completely flawed. The only thing that the players have been trained to do is playing from back. There’s been no direction from the midfield, creativity and attacking. It’s bewildering!
Offsides and missing the target lots has been the highlight of our attack. They just have no organisation or game plan going forward.
Offside is actually an indication that a team has not been well drilled on how to attack. I don’t want to go on and on about the system as it looks like ETH doesn’t have what it takes to reinvent his team with a new functional style. Effectively, he is an absolute deadman walking.
The players playing the ball in are too slow, taking too many touches, delaying the pass, and that's bcos they don't know where our forwards are making the runs. So there's little cohension.
