Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Martinelli and Gabriel Magalhaes all missed training yesterday. Hopefully they made it back for today's session.
Hoping that's just some Arteta mind games, because we are going to need those players to have any chance in this game
Jesus in for Trossard the only change from our last game. That bench is looking healthy though. Partey, Zinchenko, Tomiyasu, Trossard, ESR, Vieira, Martinelli - all good options to have
Kinda sad how the Pundits seem to be trying to put extra pressure on Arsenal. 'Must win if they are going to win the title' of course it's not that simple. We could lose this then City lose their next match and we are back above them. I just feel like there will be a few more twists and turns yet.
I hope you are given a lesson in football today. Saka injured midweek but fit today, not acceptable, maybe he pulled the race card? Arteta is a self centred spic who spits his dummy out if he doesn’t get his way.
Great. Thank you for your input. It is also worth noting City did and have done the exact same thing with their players, but if you want to make a bizarre rant about race, be my guest. Unfortunately, we don’t care about your opinion and that you want us to lose. Useless post from a weirdo, but appreciate your input nonetheless.
Saka is clearly not fully fit. (don't know WTF Infidel is blabbering on about) I would like to see Jesus go out there and bring Martinelli on the left.
Gabriel carrying a an injury, Saka hasn't trained, Martinelli hasn't trained. All we hear about is City's injuries. Such a clear bias in the press.
HT. 0-0. Competitive game. We’ve been good defensively, and OOP, but OTB, we’ve not been great. We had to withstand some early pressure and kept giving the ball away, but we grew into it and - probably - have had the best chances in the game. For all of City’s territorial dominance, I don’t feel like they’ve done that much. Im glad the referee isn’t getting drawn in to the pressure from the crowd or City players. Big second half coming up. Hopefully we can be wiser and more efficient in the final third.
Hope we can bring Martinelli on in the second half. He’s the only threat we have that can get in behind and is utterly devastating on the counter.
Cagey but that could suit us. Same number of shots so the extra possession is'nt really helping City. Saka either needs kick up the arse OR he's not fit and needs to be replaced. But yeah we need some pace bring on Martinelli.
Decent result. Important we didn't lose this. Didn't play to our best - didn't help that Saka and Martinelli both had knocks. Saliba was MOTM for me.
