NORWICH need a manager who is experienced and has Prem potential if they get there @ 11/1 it is a price that will attract money, the "book" is well unbalanced at the moment and those prices even the fav is likely to change

    think iron filings and magnet!!!!

I can’t see why Norwich would take such a huge gamble on Manning

Norwich have aspirations for promotion back to the big time
Not sure we do despite what JL says

As said they want promotion and Manning is inexperienced at this level.

I hope that this move is not the case but if you look at it with an unbiased mind who would you choose? Norwich have more desire than we have in our little finger and therein lies the difference between those who truly want it and us who pretend with fancy statements and lousy decisions. The gap between us and them is vast.

I think it’s sh1t or bust for Norwich next season. Their parachute payments will be dwindling and if they don’t get promoted next season then the season after they will find it almost as hard as the rest of us. I’m not sure when those payments end, but they don’t go on for long and they reduce every season. Same for Leeds or Southampton - whichever stays down with us.
Stoke, Watford and Cardiff have become ‘mediocre’ (Cardiff almost falling to L1 last season). It can happen if you don’t go straight back up - and if you DO spend after the PPs end then you have to deal with FFP.

Very true R&W, but just one thing mate.

To become a "mediocre" team like those you mention, you've got to get up there first - you've managed it already......<laugh><laugh>

Yes, we’ve managed it without the help of P/P, you’ve managed it, but needed the help of P/P <laugh><laugh>

We didn't need para payments to achieve mediocrity, we managed it despite that.......<laugh><laugh> - but the ride was nice. :emoticon-0105-wink:
