Given our abysmal performances against Sunderland and Crystal Palace I can't help wondering when his agent started talking to Watford.
Or more likely at what stage he realised that Ehab was a total prick, and one that he couldn't bear the thought of working for for a full season if he kept us up. Who could blame him?
One way of looking at it, I suppose. Watford have more money, are prepared to give me a job, are a better prospect for my career so lets relegate Hull City because Ehab's a prick.
I think if he's kept us up he'd have a bigger opportunity than Watford. The tail end of the season makes him still just as big a punt as we took on him. Mastermind of a 113 year old clubs worst ever home defeat. And not just any old 113 year old club, but one that spent decades being total doggy do. Takes some doing.
Same as Clucas I think Bob. I don't think that Trophies and titles are in 99% of footballers minds now. It's more Houses , Cars, Ego, Status etc.....
True. I just find it very sad that the game I grew up with has been hijacked by Billionaires, Investment agencies and sports agents. Cash is King with the football a sideshow.
Very true, there are not many situations whereby the fans who are extras, as in a film, in a show, who are part of the whole spectacle, and have to pay through the nose for the privilege.
I was puzzled by Silvas team selection at the end of last season when he kept leaving out Huddlestone when it was clear we were much better with him in, never really had an explanation for this from anywhere. Was a shame that all his efforts when he came in were really for nothing when it came to the last few games and the organisation he seemed to be instilling vanished with Evandro marking Benteke v Palace at set-pieces etc.
