Great stuff Masky. We all remember the Leicester play off semi for the pens but it was hell of a 120 minutes of football before that. Burke, Bothroyd Chopra and Whitts, what would we have given for them this season?
The ball was pinging around with great skill from both sides. Excitement that is sorely missing today Masky thinks!
Thanks for posting masky. More action in that first 15 min clip than in the whole of this season. What we wouldnt give now for one of Bothroyd, chops or mccormack in that form. Noticed whitts came running in from miles away to celebrate chops first goal. Normal service was resumed when he scored his normal time penalty. Seemed to celebrate others more than his own
I know the clips were only a snapshot but Boothroyd, what a football brain, touch and vision. It was a pleasure to watch him at the peak of his career.
Two Cardiff City greats mentioned here..... On 31 August 2012, Jay Bothroyd signed on loan to Sheffield Wednesday until 2 January 2013, in a move that saw him re-united with former manager Dave Jones, who he had worked with for three years at Cardiff City.. He made his debut on 14 September, playing 87 minutes of a 3–0 defeat to Brighton & Hove Albion before being replaced by Gary Madine. He scored his only goal for the club on 19 October in a 1–1 draw at home to Leeds United.
