    Cheers Masky. Another good one. From 2014, only Ralls and Connolly still at the club.

    Only 14,143 there that day. Looked fewer. Must be one of our lowest crowds for a league game at CCS.

    The 3-2 win over Bristol Masky posted was brilliant. City played some fantastic football back then.

    There’s also a 3-2 win at Huddersfield with a Whitt’s special on the main club site plus a fantastic 4-3 win at Sheff U with a terrific hat trick goal by Whitts again.

    These clips, although just snap shots of the games, show the great quality of our football 8 to 10 years ago. So many outstanding players with Whitts and Bothroyd the pick of the pack. No cups or promotion but great times and football. <ok>

    Bothroyd appears so languid but I don't think we appreciated his strength on the ball, positional play and ability to pick a pass - as well as scoring goals.

    DJ got bothroyd working hard as well. His chasing back and harrying defenders was part of his good work rate, apart from sitting on his arse sulking when he was tackled.
    As said, no promotions, but exciting footy.

    Besides bothroyd, chopra was a pain in the arse for defenders and was always in their ear.
    Not sure if anyone can tell me which game it was, but remember him winning a penalty when the ball was in our half. He goaded their keeper into giving him a slap despite the ball being 50 yards away.
