Could be that they want to distance themselves from him as early as possible in a post-MeToo climate or they know what he’s like, what he’s capable of and recognise his voice from the audio recording and already made their minds up about his guilt.

I did say I wasn't going to engage, but I can see you'll drag this out, but just to be clear, it wasn't a joke about domestic violence, it was an observation on an unacceptable culture. I may have mentioned that bit before.

 

You can claim it wasn't a joke all you want but the style of the image is clearly intended to reflect a joke. If you were genuinely trying to make an observation about how terrible the culture is at United it would have been presented in another way.

The fact you're so gutless as to not even own the fact it was meant as a joke is pretty pathetic, I've got to say.

The standard you walk past is the standard you accept, and in this thread of all places, making jokes about domestic violence isn't something I'll accept.

Surely it is a standard human moral to be offended by things such as rape and domestic violence?

 

Wasn't aware that having a dig at 2 wife beaters counts as condoning it, but brits have used comedy to process some quite awful circumstances since the year dot and will continue to do so.
