Yep and we more than most know what that's like, took us a number of years to come out of the other side and to stake our claim once again amongst the elite, can now only see great times ahead as we are now fortunate to have a great ownership/management team, the owner although primarily is a business man also appears to have a genuine interest in the well being of the club & a coach who is loyal & dedicated to getting us to the very top. I am so proud to be a fan of Leeds United football club, just can't wait for a full Elland Road ground with the party atmosphere from the jubilant fans, showing their delight at being back in the big time, that in itself will send a shiver down Radz/Orta & Bielsa's back and will fortify their belief that they are part of a truly great club, and a fanbase that's second to none.
Blunts seem to be well organised and unlucky not to be beating Chelsea. Heckingbottom is using a back 3 and its working
On that performance they will give us a game for a change. They deserved a draw as they both won a half each, 2 cruel goals conceded though
well i have had a sneak on there board a few times and its run by the Geordie gestapo if you heard what they think about Leeds you wouldnt feel sorry for them
Arsenal are only 2 points ahead of us, but looking at their fixtures they only really play bottom clubs?
I’m going back quite a few years not interested in a few comments from those who just wish to stir up the agro Anyway any comments against Leeds I always take as jealousy
So Arsenal draw and go above Villa 3 points ahead if us and Villa are 2 points ahead of us. To overtake them we would need a good run of results especially as Arsenal dont have a tough game left, but are playing in Europe and are not playing well?
On Friday night Patrick Bamford became only the second player since 2016 to register 20 goal contributions (14 goals 6 assists) in a season for a team outside the top 8 of the Premier League table HE STILL HAS ANOTHER 9 GAMES TO ADD TO HIS TALLY
The blunts haven’t played terribly all season... they just can’t score... and when the goals dry up confidence goes and the soft ones go in at the other end. I don’t think they’re as bad as their record suggests. It’s fine margins.
Going by the almost standard 6m cut grass 'bands', I make it 40yds. I still remember Iain Gibson score from 50yds for Partick Thistle vs Hibs. Now THAT was a shot. Thing is though, Lash would have burst a wee balloon like that. Love to see Lauriente try to score from that distance with a soaking wet 4 stone ball. Guessing it wouldn't reach the penalty box!
I think his team mates were about to butcher him for over hitting his cross when they noticed it went in. It was like the whole thing happened in slow motion. If you like your long range free kicks here’s just a few from the catalogue of Juninho, the king of free kicks. You might think the first one was a fluke if you didn’t know who was taking it. https://twitter.com/ChampionsLeague/status/1090562441522622464?ref_src=twsrc^tfw|twcamp^tweetembed|twterm^1090562441522622464|twgr^|twcon^s1_c10&ref_url=https://d-41793795644140226493.ampproject.net/2103060631004/frame.html
Wasn't too long ago someone on here said we needed a great free kick specialist, and sure it was someone like Eire who said Roberto Carlos was the right age
