    Minimum intellect.

Mind you, I've seen the challenge and while it was meaty I think referees have it in for him.

    Cattermole Syndrome.

    Would you keep him?

I thought it was a harsh red too, but give the ref a decision to make and you can find yourself in trouble.

Some people have short memories, because we were all singing his praises in his first few games for us when he scored a couple of good goals and dominated the midfield.

So to answer your question, yes I would keep him, because he is a good player who just needs to calm down a bit.

I would definitely keep him. Lad’s a good player at this level and think he’ll do well in Championship if we get promoted. 2 of the 3 cards weren’t red for me. Hopefully we win the appeal on this one.

Don't care how good you are, 3 reds already is a disgrace.

He's letting his team mates down again and again.

I'm sick of the sight of him tbh, I was willing to give him a second chance but he's gone and picked up a straight red.

If he's too thick to know when to stay on his feet then he's not good enough for even league one.

I'd keep him he's a good player, he needs to get his thinking head on when trying to boss the midfield and I agree he's been unlucky in two of his reds.
Like Catts Refs are looking for him and presently he's giving them decisions to make which are going against him.
Imo he's good enough for the Championship but he does owe his team mates big style.
JR needs to sit him down and sort him out.

Looking at it again it does look like he got sent off cos their player looked hurt and ours didn't. Also their players went straight to the ref and ours didn't. If Power went to the ground in `agony` too then the ref may have not sent anybody off.

Compare him to Honeyman who plays with just as much passion if not more but has the sense to not repeatedly do things that could get him sent off. He started the game against Charlton like a madman and I thought he was going to get sent off before half time but he reined it in and stayed on the pitch.

He's been available for every minute of every game because he's a mature professional with a brain.

The ref was a Komplete Kernt. Similar offence 5 mins earlier when one of theirs clattered one of ours didn't merit a talking to, let alone a card, according to the twat with the selective visual impairment...

The Walsall player won the ball. Correct decision, for me.

The player has won the ball and played it away by this point.

And with both feet off the ground - wonder what injury Power would have suffered if he had got to the ball first.

From the responses so far, it's fair to say we seem to be divided on this question.

If we can have the player we started with, I'd say keep him BUT.

There is no doubt in my mind that Referee's are now targeting him, the 'Catermole Syndrome' as mentioned.
He has to live with this and adapt his natural game to counteract the bias.
If he can't, he's no good to the Team if he's going to be regularly sent off and suspended.
As well as his wages the sendings off may well trigger a fine for the Club.

It's going to be up to the Player.
Change your game or go elsewhere.

Aye, I think the Walsall man should have seen red for sure. He's completely out of control and could easily have done serious damage. Per the rules of the game, he should 100% have gone.

Max's was 50/50, it wasnt out of control or studs up but was late and potentially dangerous. A yellow in my book.
