The record breaking Chairboys welcome the Daggers to Adams Park looking to extend their winning run to four games and heap more misery on the basement dwelling Daggers, who along with the Glovers are pointless. In the Daggers ranks this season is ex Chairboy Matt McClure, who surprisingly is not injured but also not surprisingly is goalless, lets hope he doesn't open his account any time soon. Gaz has strengthened his squad with the capture of Janoi Donacien on a month-long loan deal and the central defender looks to go straight into the squad and very likely the starting line up, with Sido returning to right back and Harriman on the right of a three man midfield with Bean and Wood and a three man forward line of Captain Paul Hayes Gary Thompson and Holloway or maybe Banton if Gaz is feeling brave. After getting to bed at 7am and having 4 hours sleep after working nights I will be off to AP with the boys and taking my place on the terrace cheering the lads on and expecting them to have another 3pts in the bag come 5pmcoyb
top v bottom, theres only one way i can see this going - a last minute matt mcclure wondergoal to make it 1-0!
Donacien starts and unbelievably we have 7 on the bench today. Cureton not playing (Injured i suppose) so McClure starts.
Lucky not be be 2-0 down after Dagenham scored a free kick but McClure was flagged offside long after the ball hit the net, Daggers manager raving at linesman Look forward to seeing that later on channel 5
Still second. Listened on player and i thought we'd never score. For those at the game what did you think of Donacien? Sounded like he was awful and deservedly subbed.
A few odd results today looks like everybody we were expecting to win had a bad day still 51pts to go Crawley should be interesting after this week
You seem to make a habit of doing fulltime plus numerous extra time minutes before you score. Got out of jail again. If your luck's in........
In fairness Greeny, it was all out seize of their box for the last 25 minutes. Dreadful first half and the new centre back from Villa was like a rabbit caught in headlights. Pleased to get out of it with a point and move on. Here's hoping GA can get this new lad up and running damned quickly or get one of the crocs back on their feet for next week
You've seen it a million times before though, a team has 90% of the play and loses 1 - 0. It's all about putting the ball in the net and you guys I seem to remember did a few of the late ones at the end of last term. You weren't the only ones today, Pompey left it late as well. It does make the point a lot sweeter though.
