I know nostalgia isn’t what it used to be but here goes. 1976 Middlesbrough (a) 3-3 (0-1) Division OneP27, 27pts, 12th/22 Gowling(54), Kennedy(88), Nattrass(89) Mills(44), og(Keeley)(68), Maddren(79) 31,000 Willie Maddren, David Mills and a Glen Keeley own goal looked to have won it with only three minutes left but a goal from each of the United full backs secured a point on a snow covered Ayresome Park pitch. Youtube footage is online here Forty five years ago today. My first away “derby” game if you called Boro a “derby”. Keeley had scored an own goal with a magnificent diving header and we looked as though we were heading for defeat until our two full backs Kennedy and Nattrass (the best pair of full backs we have ever had in my lifetime IMO) saved the day and lifted the clouds of doom that had enshrouded the Toon Army (or was it just the smog?). Managed to get lost after the game in the streets around Ayresome Park meaning I got back to Newcastle late resulting in my “date” having already left our meeting point never to be seen again. No mobile telephones back then and my mother having washed my trousers which had contained the young lady’s telephone number meant it was not going to be. Sometimes reminisce as to what ever happened to what’s her face...whatever she was called. Doesn’t have to be an anniversary of anything but feel free to post any football linked memories.
Meeting a stranger in the gx superbowl gateshead and getting caught receiving a blowjob by a family parking their car.
I remember once visiting Newcastle with the family. We decided to park in the GX superbowl car park in Gateshead and get the Metro into town. We were just parking the car and saw this bloke getting a blow job off another bloke. He looked like he had been playing football that day.
Years ago I was going to park in the GX Super Bowl car park when this family approached me saying “ wouldn’t go down there mate , there’s some bloke noshing off another bloke, one of whom is wearing a footy top” I left sharpish and never been back
