What exactly is the problem with any player saying any of that which might have caused a strop? Sounds to me as though he is frustrated that it's not working out as everyone had hoped - and from both posts that he is not in a good place mentally right now. Hopefully, whatever division we're in next season he will get to show us what he promised in those few minutes he's had.
I was out all afternoon yesterday and for a brief moment when I saw the half-time score I had that awful feeling called hope.... alas as always it soon disappeared just like our defence.... 'tis always thus....
Shoulda, woulda, coulda with Warnock. That ship sailed when our owners threw him under the bus after promotion. Not the most likeable but more than capable.
It's a sorry state of affairs from top to bottom at the club. The most dissapointing thing for me is the fans interest dwindling. My 17 year old, just isn't bothered about watching anymore. 'its crap football, crap tactics, same players, different formation every week'. He would rather watch amateur football, which he did this weekend. The club has an attendance record that wouldn't be in the top 7 of league 1. To attract fans and more importantly, new fans, then a style of play wouldn't go amiss. An identity that people can relate to. The slightest bit of entertainment would put bums on seats. I noticed yesterday that the majority of goal kicks went long, instead of trying to play out from the back. Not a bad thing when you aren't capable of playing I suppose. I fully expect to see more and more direct football, up to Chris Martin in these coming weeks. These tactics are quite neanderthal in the modern game but I suppose we have to play to our strengths and passing and moving certainly isn't one of them.
Feel sorry for the Supporters, this joker will be paid off handsomely and won't have the continuing anguish and utter disappointment that we've had to endure for eons
You got into my head, Stainsie! I was going to have a lump on Middlesboro, but changed my mind and had a double with Citeh. Bollocks!
I feel your pain brother….. And hearing how Haaland missed a sitter and City should have been 3 or 4 up….does not make my Sunday morning feel better
I thought I was saving it for Sherwood but after 55 years of support for the first time I am in a position where I literally cannot look at the manager nor listen to an interview of his.
You mean you could listen to Redknapp? This bloke may not be very good, but he's got a very long way to go before I'd have anything like the contempt for him that I still have for Redknapp.
The same Redknapp that got us promotion? I wasn't a great fan, but I've seen nothing of merit in Critchley whatsoever
We won the play offs under Redknapp. We started splurging money under Warnock, mainly due to an enthusiastic Uncle Tony. It was under Hughes that we got into ridiculous situations like buying the England keeper, and then doubling up with the Brazilian keeper.
The blame is widespread, deep and spread over a decade hence the deep pit we are in now. The more I read, the more worried I am for our future.
Warnock spent buttons compared to Hughes and Redknapp. We were relegated under Redknapp and should have got automatic promotion the following season given the financial advantages he enjoyed. Instead we struggled up through the play-offs and he got us relegated again the next season. Still, he talks a good game.
You make it sound as though we had some sort of entitlement to get into the automatics, and Redknapp failed by only winning the play offs. The Championship is highly competitive as we know. Hughes is more of the villain for me. And I'm still massively underwhelmed by Critchley
The promotion under Warnock as champions was ten times the achievement that Redknapp's blank cheque promotion was. Critchley appears out of his depth but he seems to have inherited an impossible situation. I don't understand the venom directed towards him.
