If Chien Lee and his partners buy City, I'd guess there'll be a budget for necessary staff. Lee's in hotels, so he'll know how to staff and he's already involved in Nice.
Im starting to wonder if the potential new owners want to bring in their own manager. Why else are negotiations taking so long? Phelan wants the job and I honestly believe he wouldnt ask for anything extravagant.. so whats the hold up?
Seeing as no one currently knows who the new owners are going to be, it makes no sense to appoint anyone. If any of the current prospects or someone completely new comes along and buys us, then it's going to cause them a real problem if they want to bring in their own man. Therefore, much better to stick with the current situation until the new owners are in place, as long as Phelan is happy to accept that situation and I'm sure he will be unless he's offered something else in the meantime.
Allam knows MP is a fans favourite so will be in no rush it's just another two fingers up to us the fans just like bringing duffen in and ****ing about with the deals . They will be pissing themselves and one last **** you
I think we're stuck with the Allams for the whole season so they may as well give Phelan the job. IF new owners do come in and want their own man as manager, paying of Phelan won't be a huge amount in the scale of things. If the Allams don't give Phelan the permanent job soon he may walk, and then we are in the poo.
Is that why they signed mason, Marshall, Keane and weir? Because they know how much we hate new signings?
Philip Buckingham @PJBuckingham Worth pointing out that a contract offer has been made to Phelan. More talks due next week but #hcafc want him as manager.
http://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/hull...ks-continute/story-29721990-detail/story.html Phelan still being dicked about by the Allams - wouldn't be surprised if he tells them to do one before too long
The new owners can't do anything until they actually own the club. I for 1, think that MP is the best man for the job
Seriously doubt that. He's said before that he's concerned about how much authority he'll actually have in the role. Surprised this hasn't been picked up more.
I don't think it's about the money, I think he's been offered the job until the end of the season and he's looking for something longer.
Maybe, I just picked up on the bit about 'premier league parity'. As much as I like the bloke and want him to get the job he doesn't have a premier league pedigree, as a manager.
