Unfortunately some can't get over their hatred of the owners to see what's staring them in the face. We can play well. We have decent larkers. Phelan was not good enough. Regardless of the reasons ie new owners or just wanting to turn things around, it's the right decision. New manager with funds to not spunk on ****e like Phelan did. Even that won't appease some mind.
ppl can say what they want about the Allams for taking away concessions and making all tickets £9. But at least they know when to get rid of a **** manager!
I'll be happy if we actually secure a target this time, a major flaw in the genius plan of our esteemed owners last time.
I'm quite disappointed by this. Until Palace at home he looked a total clueless twat. But the last few performances, results notwithstanding, have been cause to sit up. Really silly defensive errors and poor finishing have cost us badly, which ultimately reflect on the manager, but we've really been playing well with confidence which I can't remember happening consistently like this since Phil Browns team talk. I do feel we would have got better and these mistakes would have been ironed out eventually. He had time to sort it out, we've a whole half season that's worth nowt but practice ahead of a huge promotion push. If Phelans management improved we'd be golden. It will take a special appointment and serious backing to pull us out of this rut. I can't see the point in this move.
If its pardew then It means we have a decent ish budget because he wouldnt join otherwise He always starts off amazing at teams
